Ancaster Wedding Photography
I decided to write and feature a few pictures from the one of my favorite venue Ancaster Mill in Ancaster. I recently noticed that although I covered many weddings in Ancaster Mill never featured anything on my blog so here we are. This historic restaurant in Ancaster on Old Dundas Road was once an old mill. The remnants of the mill are on display at the entrance, and the magnificent running waterfalls are a feature of the dining room.
I live only 15 minutes drive from Ancaster Mill, and it is a wonderful spot for a wedding reception and wedding pictures. I can call it an elegant oasis in a picturesque Ancaster. Excellent food, beautiful surroundings. The ambiance is nice, and the staff is friendly. You can take pictures there through a whole year. Falls, flowers, autumn leaves, and snow, everything looks beautiful, and with the good creative eye, you can have your whole wedding session taken there. Magnificent waterfall, and a stream running through the windows. The restaurant accommodates small weddings, and with different rooms ( one with the view of the waterfall ) that can be dream wedding venue. I had a chance to be a wedding photographer there in different seasons, and these weddings below are my most memorable from Ancaster Mill.
Starsha and Mike had their wedding before Halloween in Ancaster Mill. I traveled to Ancaster to take their preparation pictures, and then after the ceremony, we went to the Ancaster Mill for their wedding pictures and reception. It was lovely decorated with orange color everywhere and pumpkins, and with the leaves changing their colors it was truly spectacular. However, it started to rain. My bride and whole wedding party were extremely well-spirited, and we still went outside and had our wedding session with a few umbrellas borrowed from guests. Another wedding from Ancaster Mill was during the very cold winter. I remember extreme cold with a temperature reaching -20 degrees. We still wanted to capture this beautiful surrounding and were taking pictures with lots of warm breaks inside, but the effects are stunning.
The last wedding that I want to share with you from Ancaster Mill took place before Christmas. Despite the cold weather, I remember this wedding very warmly. This wedding photography in Hamilton was a beautiful picture of the bride and groom. I will always remember this elegant wedding in stylish surroundings.
