Kaelyn and Malcolm's wedding last May was everything a wedding day should be—elegant, heartfelt, and full of genuine joy. As a Burlington wedding photographer, I've had the chance to visit many beautiful venues, but Marquis Gardens truly stands out. Located in the heart of Burlington, Marquis Gardens is a versatile event space that offers a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth. From the light-filled ceremony space to the stylish reception hall, it was an ideal backdrop for Kaelyn and Malcolm's celebration.
We began the day with getting-ready photos at their hotel, where the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and a few happy nerves. Kaelyn looked stunning, and Malcolm's calm, joyful energy set the tone for the day. One of my favorite moments was their first look—so much emotion and anticipation! We captured this intimate moment before heading to Artist's Walk in Village Square for their portraits. This charming area offered a perfect mix of texture and color, and the love between these two made every frame feel effortless.
Their bridal party brought so much fun and laughter—such a great group to spend the day with! The ceremony was particularly special, as it was officiated by the groom's mother. It was deeply personal and heartfelt, with not a dry eye in the crowd. It's always a privilege to witness moments like this and to document such meaningful connections.
The reception that followed at Marquis Gardens was full of great energy, beautiful details, and nonstop dancing. From emotional toasts to spontaneous dance floor fun, every moment reflected the kind of couple Kaelyn and Malcolm are—genuine, fun-loving, and surrounded by love.
As a Burlington wedding photographer, it's days like these that remind me why I love what I do. Thank you, Kaelyn and Malcolm, for letting me be part of your unforgettable day.
