Summer wedding at Pillar and Post Niagara-on-the-Lake

So many beautiful weddings this season, so little time to show them all! Some couples love to have a huge wedding with hundreds of guests and then there are some that prefer to have smaller weddings, being surrounded by only loved ones. Erin and Cameron's wedding wasn't big but their family's hearts were big and open and you could feel the love from the first day we met for the pre-wedding consultation. Erin came to my office with her dad and mom. It was very unique and truly wonderful to have parents involved so much with wedding day planning. I started at her parents' house in Oakville with their preparation pictures. She was very organized and it was a pleasure to work with someone who shared attention to details which made my work was so much easier. The wedding ceremony took place at St. Andrew’s Church in Oakville and was accompanied by a loud thunderstorm and lightning. We were lucky to capture many beautiful pictures by the nearby lake in Oakville with the Sun coming out of the clouds for a few minutes. We were prepared for the rain too and I always tell my couples to bring umbrellas so that we can shoot despite the weather. I personally love rainy wedding pictures - just take a look below at how beautifully they came out. As a professional wedding photographer, I have covered more than 200 weddings and had many rainy situations and know how to work fast and efficient. Their wedding reception was held at Pillar and Post, Niagara-on-the-Lake and we took a moment to drive by the lake and capture some fantastic wedding pictures. Congrats again Erin and Cameron. Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
