Ethiopian Wedding at the Saint Volodymyr Oakville - Yakob and Shanleigh

This July I had a pleasure to photograph for the first time Ethiopian wedding at Saint Volodymyr Cultural Centre in Oakville. Ethiopian weddings follow both traditional and modern rituals. The families of both the bride and the groom have essential roles in the preparations, as well as on the day of the ceremony. Men don either tuxedos or suits, while the bride wears a white wedding gown. I have tried very tasty and full of flavors Ethiopian food. Ethiopian wedding foods are spicy and largely made up of meats and vegetables. As a wedding photographer, I love to work with different cultures and traditions and explore the new places, and I got very inspired by it. Please take a look at the pictures from the wedding in Saint Volodymyr Cultural Centre in Oakville.
